The European Communication Institute is the organization formed to succeed the QJNT Synergy and CMCS (Content Marketing and Communication Strategy) Master of Arts.
It remains the result of the converging assets of the following Public and Public-Benefit European Institutions:
* Donau Universitat Krems (University of Graduate Studies and Research under Austrian Law)
* Athena Research Center (General Secretariat for Research and Technology – Ministry of Education of the Hellenic Republic)
* The Botsis Foundation for Journalism Excellence (public benefit institution aiming to encourage-award good practices in Journalism and further Journalism Quality)
* The Communication and Mass Media Technology Lab, NTUA (National Technical University of Athens).
Starting February 2015 ECI has expanded to welcome / include OPA Europe (On Line Publishers” Association – Europe) aiming to educate on a Graduate level, international english-speaking journalists in both Lavrion and Vienna campus.
ECI – European Communication Institute serves what it states: The Education, Research and Initiatives aiming at a better Europe, a people – level Integration and the enhancement/application of both hi-touch and hi-tech Journalistic and Communication Principles. It further researches/enhances the means and principles that bring Europe together, especially in times of tension / crisis.
